As LC ASI, we made the strategic decision to apply for the EuVECA (European Venture Capital Fund) license. This move reflects our commitment to further develop our investment activities in the realm of venture capital, while also capitalizing on the unique regulatory benefits it offers.
By applying for the EuVECA license, our aim was to secure access to the European investment passport, enabling us to efficiently distribute our venture capital funds across the entire European Union. This license provides us with the advantage of lighter compliance requirements, reducing costs and streamlining our investment processes.
Our team diligently adhered to the qualifying criteria and met all requirements to obtain the EuVECA license. We focused on constructing investment portfolios that meet high investment standards and align with EuVECA regulations. Maintaining the “70/30” ratio between qualifying and non-qualifying investments was pivotal in securing this license.
This step enables us to better serve our investors through simplified registration and reporting procedures. It also opens new marketing opportunities, allowing us to reach a diverse range of investors throughout the EU. We anticipate that obtaining the EuVECA license will enhance our competitiveness in the market and facilitate further growth in the venture capital sector.

Maciej Michal Podgórski is a versatile professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of the Global Venezuelan Social and Business Club e.V. and President of the Management Board at LC ASI SA. He also holds a Managing Director position at LC Capital Sp. z o.o., advising on the Polish market for the LC Group. Maciej’s career spans project management, asset management, webmaster duties, and roles in education and public relations
